About Me

A Life Dedicated to the Piano

His first approaches to music began with his paternal grandmother, Doña Isolina Estay Barraza, who had the task of awakening their inclination for Piano. In 2001 he began studying music at The Modern School of Music in Santiago.

After four years, he entered the Instrumentalist Degree in Music with a major in Piano at the University of La Serena, under the leadership of the Soloist Ariadna Colli Hurtado, developing the technical and interpretive skills required for a Classical Pianist.

Having graduated from Bachelor of Music in 2008, he completed his Minor in Classical Piano in 2009. His academic activity is shared with teaching at the "Universidad Católica del Norte" and "Casa Chopin".

Performance & Work

After four years, he entered the Instrumentalist Degree in Music with a major in Piano at the University of La Serena, under the leadership of the Soloist Ariadna Colli Hurtado, who is currently developing the technical and interpretive skills required for a Classical Pianist.

In 2004, 2005 and 2006, he traveled as an active participant in the "International Meetings of Young Pianists" in the City of San Juan, Argentina, under the agreement between the National University of San Juan and the University of La Serena.

In the past two years, he has played a major role in the musical extension of the University of La Serena in single and shared recitals, as well as around Chile, emerging as a talent of large projections.

In 2009 he was an active participant at the University of Kentucky (United States of America) taking lectures.
